| Financial Aid Seniors: It is almost time (January 1st, 2012) to have your parents fill out the FAFSA - Free Application for Federal Student Aid. This form will make you eligible for Federal Grant money. The FAFSA for 2011-2012 is not available until January 1st 2012. You can, however, register for your PIN (Personal Identification Number) for both you and your parent now. Kennedy Profile in Courage Essay Contest The John F Kennedy Library Foundation invites U.S. high school students to write an essay on an act of political courage by a U.S. elected official who served during or after 1956. The 2012 Prudential Spirit of Community Awards All students who have actively volunteers in their community should apply. The deadline for submission is November 1st, 2011. Indiana University Automatic Academic Scholarships Applicants who apply to IU by November 1st and have earned SAT score of 1340 or ACT of 30 and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.8 will get an automatic $9,000/yr scholarship. An SAT of 1220, ACT of 27 and a cumulative GPA of 3.7 will earn a student a $4,000/yr academic scholarship. Deadline is November 1st.
